Introduction:The course responds to the need to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the new Horizon 2020 framework program for research and innovation. Valid for the period 2014-2020, H2020 program replaces all the previous programs: the VIIth Framework Program, the framework program for Competitiveness and Innovation (CIP) and the European Institute for Technology (EIT).
The course introduces the new structure of the program, articulated into three pillars (Excellent Science, Industrial Leadership and Societal Challenges), the new rules for participation and project proposals' evaluation criteria.
